Federally Funded Traineeships

Having a highly skilled and credentialed workforce is desirable for any employer, but training costs money right? Have you considered the benefits of putting new employees through a traineeship?

Employing an Australian Apprentice or Trainee is a smart investment in the future of your business. Investing in training through an Australian Apprenticeship or Traineeship can provide your business with real benefits and contribute to your bottom line. A range of financial incentives may be available to you when you employ an eligible Australian Apprentice or Trainee.

Total Management and Training (TMT) is a registered training organisation offering nationally accredited courses and qualifications throughout Queensland.  TMT has User Choice funding available for a variety of Certificate III qualifications, which may be studied as part of a traineeship.

Students undertaking training with TMT are fully supported throughout the traineeship by way of instructor-led training, on-going mentoring and encouragement by a dedicated Trainer and Administration Team. TMT team members will work with your organisation to put together a training plan which is flexible and can be adapted to suit your organisation's structure and requirements.

The Australian Government has introduced a number of initiatives to assist employers who take on an Australian Apprentice or Trainee. These initiatives provide financial incentives to eligible employers through the Australian Apprenticeships Incentives Program, such as:

  • Commencement, Recommencement and Completion Incentives
  • Australian School-based Apprenticeships Incentive
  • Mature Aged Worker Incentive

TMT have a range of qualifications available for students to undertake, many of which may attract the Australian Government Incentives.  Up-skilling your workforce via Apprenticeships and Traineeships not only promotes employee engagement, it also assists in staff retention strategies and employee satisfaction. Qualifications with funding attached include:

  • Certificate III in Business
  • Certificate III in Business Administration
  • Certificate III in Work Health and Safety
