Recognition of Prior Learning

A student’s history of study, skills and experience can be considered but it must support the criteria included in the units of competency within the qualification. Documentary evidence covering the criteria of each unit of competency will be required.

User Choice Funding

This qualification may be funded under the User Choice Program. There may also be Federal Government incentives applicable to the employer for eligible new employees who are undertaking a traineeship.

Self-paced Study

Students will be provided with online access to courseware and assessment tasks. Course instruction and trainer support will be provided throughout the duration of the qualification.  One unit of competency (BSBITU307 Develop keyboarding speed and accuracy) requires face-to-face assessment under test conditions and cannot be completed self-paced. 

Those undertaking traineeships will receive on-site visits from their allocated trainer, as well  as support from an Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN) representative.


How long will it take?

Please note your enrolment in this qualification is for a set period, and will expire automatically after one year. If you have not completed your qualification in this time, an extension may be granted, however this will depend on how much progress has already been made in your studies.

Once a qualification has expired, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for any units which were completed during the enrolment timeframe. After expiry, you may re-enrol for another year for an additional fee, however this must be done within 6 months of the expiry date, and will be subject to qualification currency. After 6 months, full price will be payable. Please refer to our Student Handbook for more information.


How will participants be assessed and what will they receive?

Students will be assessed by completion of theory questions, practical activities, and skills testing. Upon successful completion of the assessment activities, participants will be issued with a qualification certificate for BSB30415 Certificate III in Business Administration.

Course Venue and Equipment

This course may be conducted in our training rooms in Cairns, or on-site at a client’s premises for dedicated delivery for a group of employees. Where courses are conducted on-site then a suitable venue and white board are to be provided by the client company. The venue shall have sufficient tables and chairs for participants to be seated comfortably for the duration of training. Any catering costs shall be borne by the client company. Please contact us to discuss alternate arrangements if there is any difficulty in providing these facilities and equipment.


Additional Costs and Expenses

Where the training is conducted outside the immediate Cairns area then additional costs will be applicable. Any airfares, travel, accommodation, meals and materials freight incurred in the provision of this training will be on- charged. Mileage will be charged at 80¢ (plus GST) per kilometre and traveling time will be charged at our standard rates. Please contact us for a formal quotation for courses conducted outside of Cairns.
